They have delicious, albeit expensive, tea; a small sweets case; and an outlet at every table. The staff are friendly and ready o assist you. I gave it four stars for the atmosphere, which is found wanting. Tables are uncomfortable, and chairs are metal and noisy. From a tea-snob point of view: I was disappointed to find out that they serve your tea while the leaves are still steeping. It would benefit them to either pre-steep it so it comes out perfect and ready, or to give you a timer so you know how much time is left for the tea to get to its sweet spot. Overall, I had a good experience here! The even had wifi.

Like Madea once said, my soul cries out, HALLELUJER! thank God for saving me. The saving here is referring to hipsters. Praise the LAWD for the lack of hipsters at this joint. There is nothing pretentious or hipster about this place, which is very refreshing. Many of the coffee spots in the city are infested by hipsters, and I'm soooo glad this place has caffeine without the hipsters. This is one of my favorite businesses in the city. It's something different from the more popular hipster coffeehouses. It's a simple laid back place with a great playlist. There is always artwork on the walls for sale by local artists. One of the only places with a decent variety of tea. The proprietor is clearly passionate about tea and loves the business. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. She's always willing to answer any questions, and just a pleasant person. I love masala chai, and this is the closest thing to masala chai served by a non-Indian place. I went here between classes because I was too lazy to drive home to make myself chai. It's not exactly like Indian masala chai, but much better than the crappy chai tea lattes offered by other places. I've only tried the Shimla and Assam blends, which are similar to the strong Indian teas. Since masala chai is served in milk form, I recommend getting it as a latte. You have the option of choosing your milk, and sweetness on a scale of 1 to 3. On a side note, why do people keep saying chai tea latte??? Chai=tea, so it translates to tea tea latte, which makes no sense. It's like saying hamburger sandwich....

Stopped by for a few hours of studying. The people there were very knowledgable about their teas. They are very helpful in assisting with their huge menu and trying to narrow down what tea would be best for you. I ordered a hot green tea and it was good. Pricey but at least it didn't taste bad!

The TEA options! So many tea options! VENUE: The place doesn't scream "study hall" and it doesn't exactly inspire me to sit down and write amazing prose. However, it is a formidable option if you just want some tea and need to get some work done - which is exactly what I needed to do. There were some teenagers that were also sharing the space and their volume was slightly louder than I would have liked but I still managed to get my work done so that's a plus. FOOD/DRINK: I ordered a the Match Green Tea frozen/blended beverage. I was warned that it had a lot of caffeine. It was DELICIOUS. I was up until 2:00 AM later that night. SERVICE: Our barista was very helpful and pleasant to interact with. All in all a great place for tea lovers. I wish the setting/environment itself was a bit more "Central Perk" (if you will) but if you want a no frills sort of place to go, this is it!

We were greeted immediately upon entering the little tea room. They have a very nice selection, I decided on the Ceremonial Matcha, appropriate for Easter weekend. As I relaxed and enjoyed being in the moment, sipping my tea, I browsed the local art on the wall. It was comfortable enough, although it's not the type of place I'd go to linger very long.

I'm a super duper big fan of this place. Tea is my preferred beverage of choice and this place has a bunch of it. Green teas, black teas, white teas...etc. For the casual tea drinker, it could become a little overwhelming. However, being the tea freak that I am, I was able to navigate their tea menu with ease. I usually stick to my green teas and TAUT has a nice selection of green teas. Not only can you have them make you some tea, but you can also buy any of their 40+ teas. (That's a conservative estimate.) I opted to buy some of their loose leaf tea (white strawberry, blueberry pomegranate) and have been pleasantly surprised since my first taste. I can't say that their tea is expensive or cheap, because I've never had the opportunity to buy loose leaf tea before. But, for my 2oz bag of loose leaf tea, I paid $7...which seemed like a good deal to me. I will definitely be returning to this place!
(5)Bailey Elise M.
The staff is SO great and didn't make me feel dumb about asking about the different kinds of tea the way I often feel when visiting other local coffee shops. They have a huge variety of teas to choose from, and lots of easy descriptive words that I can understand when they describe the flavors to you. I felt like my drink was truly catered to exactly what I want. Location is great, and you can bring your bike inside so it doesn't have to wait outside in the cold for you.
(5)Abbey H.
Love, love, LOVE this place It has been my friends' and my "go-to" place to hang out for a few years. Some other reviews say this place is expensive, but compared to other teahouses I have been to, I think this place is great! I get bulk teas from here, and I find myself refilling my tea tin once every few MONTHS, and each time it is roughly $16. Granted, I don't drink tea EVERY day, but I drink it at least on a weekly basis. I like what they have I like their prices And I like their ambience/staff It is a great little place to check out
(5)Collin F.
They have a wonderful assortment of teas! Best in town. Just because of the selection and the owner, they now have a lifelong customer. They have plenty of brewing devices for everyone and don't overwhelm you with all the extra stuff places like Teavana have. Everything you need is here. The owner and employees are exactly who you want to be selling you tea. The polite, interested, and friendly demeanor they posses makes just the stop worthwhile. They don't strictly push the most expensive teas and aren't throwing all kinds of teas at you to try or buy. I don't like being force fed opinions or products. They allowed me to think for myself and choose a tea I wanted since ultimately everyone has their own preferences and should try things at their own pace. The recommendations were tailored for me and not by marketing majors, which I have plenty of experience with. The Hors d'oeuvres selection is a nice touch since who doesn't love a biscuit or a scone with a cup of tea! The variety of tea they have can seem a little overwhelming, but do not fear! They are all grand and they will tell you which goes well at certain times of day, which are good cold, which you may enjoy, among any other situation. It is a wonderful place to go to study as the ambiance is nice yet not distracting, they provide wifi, and you can drink as much tea as you like!
(5)Heidi W.
The hotter it gets outside, the more I think about t, An Urban Teahouse's iced tea. Specifically, the pineappley coconutty flavored tea. Iced. Or the moroccan mint. Or any of the other flavors, because I like them all. I love the ambience here. So peaceful. Tranquil. Quiet. I can get some work done. I can chat with friendly staff. Everyone behind the counter is just so, so... nice! Friendly! Warm! Hospitable! They take the time to get to know everyone by name!
(5)Matt P.
I've been on a bit of a tea kick lately as I try to drink less and less coffee. They have such a broad selection of tea here, I've tried a couple different types so far. My favorite has been the black vanilla tea, iced. It's very subtle tasting, but very, very tasty. The atmosphere is really nice, filled with great art for sale by local artists. It's very quiet inside, which I appreciate (especially when I'm trying to get a little work done) and the staff is so smiley and friendly. Highly recommend you try!
(5)Sarah M.
Talk about a down-right dreamy place. Oh hello, Chamomile and Peppermint iced tea recommended to help calm my newly prego self down. Oh hi, DUDE Sweet Chocolate treats! You all make me very happy. Really, this is just a happy place. Local art rotated through the walls, the art of making fine tea mastered by the staff, treats and WiFi make for any excuse to run in or stay for a few hours. If they open a location in Tulsa, I'll probably pee my pants with excitement. Until then, you bet whenever I'm in OKC this will be a stop for well, all kinds of happiness!

Why do I devote so much of my time to Yelp? Because Yelp helps me find little gems like this one tucked away in places I would not otherwise notice. Lucky me was introduced to this teahouse at this year's Yelpies, and I could not be happier with the discovery. My son has a favorite tea, which is picked and packaged in Hawaii. We moved here one year ago and brought a nice stash of this tea, but in recent months the tins have begun to empty. With no trip home planned for the near future, we have been on a hunt for a teashop that could recreate the flavor. I explained this to Kristy during a lull at the Yelpies event, and she assured us that her staff would do what they could. Sure enough, the moment we described the tea, and then let them smell what remained in the canister, the wall of massive tins of tea started moving. 100+ teas altogether, but only a few made it to the counter in front of us. Within just a few moments the young man who had stepped up to help had created a blend which is much closer than anything else we have found on our search. The only reason it is not a perfect match is that some of the ingredients simply are not well known outside of the Polynesian cultures, and so are not easily available. We have spent the last few weeks brewing this lovely blend, and are all looking forward to a return trip so that we can add even more variety to our tea cabinet.
(5)Caroline M.
I love this place. The chamomile is freaking amazing good quality and I love the Earl Grey Cream. The lady that runs it is wonderful and tries to remember the names of her regulars.
(5)Mark K.
Went in because of the yelp reviews. Here's the rundown: One guy working there. One couple in the shop. He's making their drinks. We sit down at the bar. He doesn't acknowledge us while he takes a very long time to make their drinks. After 10 minutes. (I'm not kidding, TEN minutes) he says to us "What can I get you?" Maybe he's new? Took him a LOOOONNNNNGGG time to make our teas as well. During this time, I saw some people coming in to order and just deciding to bail after waiting so long without even being acknowledged. The tea was fine. Worst service I've had in a while.
(1)Julie S.
I have no idea why it took me so long to check this place out. Maybe I wasn't ready for something steeped in so much awesomeness? Well, for whatever reason, I had never been in. Here's a tea-se: Tea: I ordred a pot of jasmine and hunkered down to work for a while. Jasmine tea, perfect all by itself. The pot was $6.50, discounted with my Keep it Local. Once you've been in, they store your preferences, so you can remember what you've ordered and don't need to show your discount card every time. That little pot of tea lasted me almost three hours, and with an outlet and wi-fi (and being made to feel perfectly welcome to work and hang out). I'd say that's quite a deal. Atmosphere: I don't understand how one playlist made by someone else could be so perfect. The music in here was at least as good as the tea, which is saying a lot. It was really busy, but never loud. Some people stayed a while and visited, some people were working, and some people were kind of in and out. A few people around my age on laptops, a few pairs of ladies in for tea and a visit, and then a few high school kids after school got out. Warm and Fuzzy: The owner, Kristy, knew many of her customers names, as well as their drinks. I think thirty people came in while I was there and she knew the vast majority of them. I loved working from there and getting to see her interact with so many people. I was thinking about asking if I could just move my desk in. That probably isn't part of the look they're going for, but if you see me in there with my little pencil holder and my notepad, don't be surprised.

I was so pleased with my first visit here! I have lived a mile away from here since it opened, but never went until I got a Groupon to purchase some teas and I was very happy with everything here. The barista was friendly and super helpful. I am pretty new to teas and she didn't make me feel stupid like some places do when you aren't familiar with their products! It was a great experience and I will definitely be a returning customer. So many choices of brews to try!
(5)Sharon M.
I was looking for a place to chill and fill out some paperwork and have some yummy tea. It appears I found just the place for the afternoon. I am not a tea expert, but I'm trying to learn more about it and drink it more. I was very impressed with the customer service and thrilled that they were patient and not only knowledgable about the tea, but also gave me a bit of education on what to try. I wasn't disappointed. I asked for a sweeter fruity tea, probably cause I'm just so fruity and sweet. I tend to like those tastes in a tea as well as other beverages. I opted for the mandarin orange tea with an orange nutmeg cookie. It was a great afternoon treat. I sat (and am still sitting as I type this, not as you read it) and have had a very relaxing hour or so filing out important, stressful paperwork. I will definitely be back, probably pretty soon!
(4)Vinton B.
Typically the only tea that interests me is the southern sweet style. I'm not very classy. However, t has provided a great environment and such friendly service that they may be working to change me. Every time I'm in I tell the person behind the counter what kinds i've liked before and they suggest something new. I really like trying out all the new tea and figuring out what pleases my taste buds. So take it from me, if you feel like you don't like anything but Red Diamond, just try this place out, they might change your mind.
(4)Tiffany A.
This is my favorite place to relax and unwind. If it wasn't for this place o don't think I would had graduated. Great place to study and meet great people. Their blueberry scones are a lifesaver.
(5)Rachel S.
All of my hopes and dreams are here. I thought I lost them when I became the awful, bitter adult that I am, but they've just been hanging out at T! The boyfriend and I got a teapot of aman raja (spelling?) chai tea that cost us about $4 and some cents. It's delicious vanilla'y chai tea that provided 4 sizable cups. The atmosphere is... hipster? As one might expect, but it turns out I was sort of into it. It faces a busy street, but was quiet and temperate. The walls had local art hanging for sell. Nice to look at, a bit pricy to buy! One piece I particularly was into was a Borderlands painting/drawing (not sure which). That's a video game if that left anyone confused. The music playing was most decidedly artists that I enjoy -Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, and Regina Spektor. The Call sung by Regina came on... that song is in The Chronicles of Narnia! I've never heard it played anywhere but my Pandora station and it's such a tinkly, pretty song. The young lady who was manning the counter was very sweet, helpful, and informative. Last but not least, they do sell tea and tea accessories, and at pretty reasonable prices if I do say so. In other local or internet businesses (which I won't name) loose leaf tea is madly expensive. Usually between $7-$12 for 2oz. T's speciality teas are mostly $5 per 2oz. Whoah! I'll be back for you, tea... in the mean time I bought a cute little teal stump pot for $27. It's the same model they use for serving tea so it makes a solid 4 cups, and of course includes a strainer.
(5)Carly N.
I have to admit, the first time I tried T I was not so impressed. It took a while but I came back and ordered the green tea matcha which was very good! I chose level 3 of sweetness which is the max and I think that's what made the difference. I chose level 1 on a different tea last time I was here and I felt like that was not sweet enough...the bitter taste was still there. I was told that the green tea matcha has a lot of caffeine so it's a great drink to start your day! Employees are friendly and you get a 5% discount with a Keep It Local card.
(4)Lindsey K.
My husband and I run errands together on our date days, He gets his hair cut across the street at Lakeside Barber, and while he is getting his ears lowered, I run across the street and get a nice cup of tea! She is always so accommodating, and offers samples of anything that sounds good to help me make my decision. I bought a little tea basket there, and I'll be back soon for some awesome loose teas!
(4)Maggie F.
I think this place has great tea, but I don't go here much because I had a bad first experience with a snobby employee. At the time, I hadn't really branched out from a vanilla chai latte, but I wanted to try this place because I'd heard graet things When I asked if they had vanilla syrup, I got a snotty reply of, "No, the tea is what brings the flavor" or something along those lines. I've been back a few times and liked every drink I've had, but the pretentious attitude really put me off and it's what I think of anytime I think of this place.
(2)Jeff M.
Is there anything more refreshing than an iced Moroccan Mint Green tea? If there is, I don't want to know about it because it may make my head explode from all the greatness. On second thought, please, please, please tell me about your favorites. Describe them in vivid detail and explain the flavor profiles. Otherwise, every time I go, I'll stand there for 15 minutes hemming and hawing while trying to decide what I should get. I still think it's kind of expensive for what you're getting; I frequently try to calculate what the profit margin must be when you're charging $5.00 (after tip) and all you're using to make your product is water and some tea leaves. But then I take a sip and it zaps me into the "Dannnnng that's good stuff" frame of mind. Also, the chai beverages as mentioned in my previous review are amazecups. Chris N. has a mission to try every tea in the place. I find that to be an admirable goal, but I can tell you that such a goal will never be achieved by me because every time I try something new at T:AUT, I end up loving it. Then the next visit, it makes it that much harder to pick something new because my list of favorites keep growing. It's like asking me to pick my favorite (hypothetical future) child. It's kind of impossible. But in the end, I end up picking the good looking one that doesn't leave a bitter taste in my mouth. The tea I mean, not my (hypothetical future) child. I don't even know... What I'm talking about right now. Also, the ugly, heart-eating monster painting is gone. Now it looks like a tea shop. No more nightmares after drinking my delicious tea! Keep it local, mmmkay?
(4)Taylor C.
Loose lips sink ships, but what do loose leaves do? In T, An Urban Teahouse's case, loose leaves steep for five minutes to make Oklahoma City's best cup of chai. From dark, earthy teas to whimsical, fruity teas, T has it all. The staff, while mostly very young, is knowledgeable about the various teas they have in stock, and they can easily guide you down the right path to the perfect cup. For me personally, life gets no better than a laid back morning with a hot ginger-peach black tea. The only knock I have against this place is that it's quite the opposite of cozy. There is very limited seating and what's available are cheap, hard chairs. I think a softening up might be in their future.
(4)Chavah A.
I am SOOOOOO a fan of this place. I loved the barista, I loved the atmosphere and their green tea selection is awesome.
(5)Michael M.
Stopped in here on a yelp shops local crawl. Everyone seemed friendly and the green tea I had was nice, warm and refreshing. This place is more hipster/granola which is exactly what I would expect from a Tea house. I myself love tea and I think this place just helped my get reaquonted with that part of myself. I will keep this place in mind the next time I am in the area and feel like tea.
(4)Chris N.
I'm on a mission to try every tea here. There's so much to choose from at an extremely reasonable price. I don't think I've had one that hasn't been yummy. There's always good art on the walls, good music going, and fast internet. My 5th star is always reserved for service, and the owner, Kristy, and her staff all have the smarts about tea and could probably sell me tea from a trash can.
(5)Sophie B.
Kristy. What can I say. The girl knows her stuff. I'm the type of customer that doesn't know what she wants and wants to go off suggestions of an expert. I usually stick with my Hazelnut Oolong, (seriously, get it, unsweetened if you dare.) but today I felt like Chai. After, discussing chai and how it's made we decided I should try the Amuraja Chai. I have to watch my sodium so I got it with soy . Based on her tea goddess knowledge we added local honey, about a one on the shops scale and I sipped it for approval. This. Is. My. New. Favorite. Chai. Why do I live in Dallas now? I can't have this everyday? Plus, the conversation and in- store experience is something to not be missed. She is such a delight. I can leave Oklahoma much happier than when I arrived a week ago.
(5)Brent W.
Great local place to get fresh tea and good service. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. If you're in the mood for tea, skip Starbucks and check this place out.
(5)Meredith D.
If you like tea (iced, hot, latte, etc.) this place is the best! Seriously the best tea in OKC. The staff is great and very informed on the wide variety of loose leaf tea they carry. If you don't know what to get they are helpful in finding a tea based on your taste. The variety of teas has something for anyone. You can have your tea plain, sweet, iced, hot or with milk (2%, 1%, non fat, soy, almond). It is wonderful! The only thing I would add to this place is more seating. They have a little bar and some tables, chairs and outlets (great for working on your laptop) but only 2 arm chairs. I wish they had another seating area like that but the tea is so good I can't complain.
(5)Kyle H.
Before trying this tea shop, I read the reviews, checked out pictures, and talked to people about it. Despite the positive feedback, I really didn't expect much. That simply made my experience all the more pleasantly surprising. The kind lady who owns the store is very knowledgeable about tea, and she clearly shows passion for what she does. Her employees, too, are friendly and competent workers. They explain their product without being pushy or overly anxious for you to buy something. Their teas are excellent and of high quality. When I went, I order the white rose. I have always love light floral teas the most. This was a lovely one I had not tried before, and I ended up buying two ounces before leaving. Their merchandise is nice, but I do wish to see more of it in the future. They had a nice variety of ceramic pots and a few clay ones as well. I'd really love to see cast iron to go wish these choices. One of the things I liked the most about this store is that it supports local artists and accepts and sells the Keep it Local card for $10. One clay yea pot they had for sale was hand made. If you visit, you can read about the artist there. All around, it's a nice little store--great for people who want a cup of tea, or students looking for a place to study.

I could pass as and have been mistaken for a lumberjack. I have ordered the Wendy's triple cheeseburger, eaten it, and then wondered in a non-ironic way if it was enough food. I would never in a trillion gazillion years just casually wander into a place like this unless (hypothetically) my wife really wanted to go and I love her and so we went. My favorite hot tea is the kind that my wife is kind enough to make us when the mood so strikes. And I had a great time here. I'm going to chalk it up to the lady working on that Saturday, because her passion for tea was infectious and she was not condescending at all even though I was far from the standard clientele in terms of gender and/or sexual orientation and/or being able to pronounce many of the teas on the menu. She was welcoming, patient, hooked us up with some very good tea, and we enjoyed in a very relaxing atmosphere. I know I can remove the coolness from a place simply by entering, but they didn't rub it in my face there and it's enough to make me want to go back. I'll probably still bring my wife for appearances, but I'll actually enjoy it. It's expensive but worth it, the atmosphere is very calm, music was not bad and as mentioned above, exceptionally friendly staff. This one is a keeper for sure.
(5)Jennifer C.
Cute place with an enormous variety of teas. But definitely not a good place to study because the small space fills with noise when people come in to order their drinks. That said, it's a lovely and healthy alternative to Starbucks or Panera for your caffeine fix. Also, try the chocolates from Dude, Sweet Chocolate! The Albatross (my fav!) is a dark chocolate blue cheese truffle. The homemade baked goods (blackberry macarons and earl grey tea cookies) are just okay -- the macarons included seeds.
(4)Helen W.
Great selection and service. I love the option to get the tea in a pot and our barista was very helpful in helping us pick out teas that would work well together
(4)Jessica G.
Very good tea and good spot to drink it! Staff is friendly. Good and delicious variety of teas and they sell by minimum of 2 oz per tea and take keep it local
(4)Ashleigh B.
I'm officially a huge fan of this teahouse. I seriously don't know why I waited to long to try this place out! I enjoy tea, but don't consider myself anywhere near the expert level about knowing what kinds I like and don't like. So sometimes tea/coffee places can be intimidating, but not this place! They have more teas than you could ever try, and will help you pick one you will like! I had the passion fruit strawberry green tea, and it totally hit the spot! It has a great atmosphere too! Pretty small and quiet, without being "too quiet" if you know what I mean. Great for conversations with others or working by yourself! And the music playing is spot on. Even if I didn't know the song, I liked it! I've been raving to my friends about how great this business is, so we have plans to go back soon! I tend to get order the same thing at my favorite restaurants/drink places, but with almost 100 different teas I've gotta branch out! I'm writing this in my review so you guys will keep me accountable ;)
(5)Kelli H.
great selection of tea, very friendly and helpful barista, great first time experience at this local shop would recommend to a friend
(5)Meg W.
Although I didn't expect to pay $10 for two regular iced teas, I still really enjoyed coming here. I only stopped in to order some tea, not to sit down for a while but I will definitely be back when the semester starts because this would be a fantastic place to study. The atmosphere is very comfortable, there is local art on the walls and they have WIFI and outlets as well as great music that isn't too loud or overwhelming. They have an extensive list of teas that I know nothing about and also some bakery items that looked a little scarce when I was in, but delicious at the same time. I would really like to try some of their less expensive teas, even though the one I had was delicious, just way too pricey for a regular sized cup of iced tea in my opinion. Maybe since I know nothing about tea, I also don't know that fancy tea is usually expensive. Either way, I'll be back, especially since my house is only about a block away!
(4)Able B.
T An Urban Tea house is one of my all time favorite places in the world. I know that's a pretty bold statement but it really is great. I have been to tea shops all across this great country of ours and T is top notch! I, being the pseudo tea nerd that I am, have a couple of tester questions that I throw out upon entering a tea shop. I have two very specific teas that I LOVE and I can hardly ever find anywhere. It is rare to find a shop that carries one of them let alone BOTH. The owner is a truly wonderful Genius of all things tea and a wealth of information! She is kind courteous and more than happy to help you make informed decisions off of her extensive tea menu. Today for example when I went in (sorry forgot to check in) I was in a particularly ROCK'N'ROLL mood so naturally I needed some herbal tea. [Side note: Juxtaposition and irony are two of my all time favorite things. ] I told Kristy, that I was looking for something herbal and ROCK'N'ROLL. Immediately with hesitation she responded "Blood Orange!" how perfect is that! I also love all the local art displayed on the wall. This shop, in the proud and ancient tradition of tea shops is the best of everything. Tea shops have since ancient days been a place of warmth and gathering. A community place where people can go to and feel welcomed, warmed, accepted and loved. T is all that and more. A true OKC treasure!
(5)Fantom G.
Resembles Boston tea shops! Super friendly and knowledgable staff. The tea menu is dead simple and really unique! I had a pot of chocolate chili chai- out of sight!
(5)Corinne W.
Outstanding place! Awesome selection. Great service. And they have almond milk - great for paleo - ers :)
(5)Jason L.
Read great reviews so I decided to check it out, especially since I enjoy tea. I had an iced green tea to start off with and then went on to get a pot of hot oolong tea. A good, quiet little place with a great music playlist and a good place to read a book or socialize.
(4)Laurel L.
I never miss this place when I come to town. The absolute best teas I've had brewed to perfection with timers and specified water temps. Don't miss the creamsicle. This review makes me want to stop in today!
(5)Kevin W.
When I'm not already wired on three cups of coffee from Elemental, I make it a point to head to T for my caffeine fix. Yes, the selection can be slightly overwhelming / confusing your first visit, but the staff is awesome and in no way will ever rush you or make you feel like an idiot, and I'm an idiot, so making me feel like I'm not an idiot is no easy task - to say the least. It's a refreshingly relaxed atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door, you'll forget all about that horrible traffic that you ran into on May on the way up. I attempt to try something new each time, but its difficult when they have such amazing options like coconut green tea, matcha green tea lattes, and orange-grapefruit herbal tea that I just want to order again and again. They can pretty much accommodate any request (that I can think of): almond milk, unsweetened almond milk, soy milk, sweetener/no sweetener, hot/cold, creamy bailey's... ok not that last one but in their defense, I haven't tried, YET. True story: I had a groupon that I completely forgot about, so I ran up to T to get some matcha green tea powder for the house. Apparently in their system, they aren't able to apply the Keep It Local discount to groupon transactions, which wasn't a big deal either way to me, but the barista (teaista?) insisted that she could accommodate both, so she took the time to ring them up as two separate transactions. Completely unnecessary, but that just goes to show the type of service and friendliness you'll get at T. They support local artists and they are part of Keep It Local, bonus points. 'Nuff said, go get you some T.

Wow, a place all about tea!!!! I love it. :) They have AMAZING tea variety, and such quality too. Beautiful sunlight coming through, a good deal of outlets for your computer, wifi, and the best indie (think Last Kiss soundtrack) music. Great place to study. They have two comfy chairs in the corner and three or four other tables/chairs. Nice, spacious bathroom. Local art on the walls (that you will seriously want to improve your apartment with). A great place, which definitely has its own awesome style. Not too commercial at all. Love it and it is my new favorite place to study. Should definitely be tried. PLUS it is in the same shopping center as BlueSeven (awesome clothing store) and a Pho place that is super good. Kristy is of course the most amazing host/owner/tea mentor. You can buy the loose leaf tea here as well, and I would definitely recommend switching from tea bags if you care about tea as much as I do. It is very simple once you purchase a perfect little mug (that they sell) which has a stainless steel filter and a little lid. Drinking loose leaf tea is is easy with this beautiful mug. (I realize I sound like a commercial. Deal with it). The orangecicle, iced, btw way, is my favorite iced tea selection.

Fantastic, wonderful tea house. The staff are super knowledgable and incredibly passionate. They offer free samples and free education! Buying teas to take home can be about on par with Teavana's pricing, if you're familiar with that store. In other words, a bit expensive for my tastes. But coming in for a cup every so often is great!

If a tea house were a bright shiny diamond, this would be the Elizabeth Taylor of gems...with a sidecar of antioxidants and caffeine. Mmmm caffeine.

This, without doubt, one of my favorite places in okc. It is what it sounds like-- a tea house, with a wall full of tea in all varieties, even matcha that the ... Tearistas?... mix and swish. All of the teas are excellent quality, prepared with the proper water temperatures and steeped for the proper amount of time. Also a plus? The staff are all super nice. As to the decor, I love it. There's a lot of open space, and the furniture has a modern feel without being sterile. The background music is nice, and not too distracting if you want to read. Only caveat is the price, but it's appropriate for the quality of the tea-- it's just that most places use lower quality tea and thus can charge less.

My very favorite place to study, hang out and relax! They're music perfect for relaxing and studying and of course the tea is amazing as well!! They know their tea well which is perfect for someone like me who loves tea, but doesn't know a lot about it! I tell them what I'm in the mood for and I am never disappointed! They have wonderful customer service and keep the environment cheery and friendly! Best place to get tea in OKC!

Minimalist atmosphere, great selection of tea and reasonable prices. Picked up some matcha to do some experimental cooking with and I got a great deal. Helpful and friendly customer service too. My only wish is that they opened at 7am instead of 8. Looking forward to sampling more teas and trying some of the pastries.

your go-to loose-leaf tea shop. just amazing tea and a huge selection to go through! the proprietor is a sweetheart, and the space is awesome to just hang out in or host events in. they are keep it local friendly, and if you've never tried anything but tea-bag-made brews, they'll walk you through. you can pick up diffusers and other tea-musts, and they've got some great art hanging. all-around a lovely stop!

I loved this place for studying/hanging out when I lived in OKC and continue to love it each time I come home to visit. Easygoing vibe and friendly staff make it a great place to get some delicious tea. Had iced passion fruit strawberry tea - really appreciated the staff asking what level of sweetness I wanted. Not a lot of places do that and I end up with overly sweet tea! Bottom line: delicious tea for a good price!

I stumbled upon this place today and since I'm a big tea snob I wanted to check it out. The girl working behind the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a nice variety of teas and we ended up trying a couple of different iced white teas that were delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable & modern. But as the previous review stated, they could use more seating. The prices were reasonable for the tea quality but not cheap. There are chain tea shops in Chicago & the S.F. Bay Area but it's refreshing to have a local tea shop in OKC.

Visited this place a couple of weeks ago while my parents were in town. It is such a great little place! The decor and atmosphere were very nice, there are a variety of teas, and they are marked by quality (which also marks the price). When you order hot tea, they give you a little timer with 3 hourglasses and tell you which one you wait on before you pour your tea out of the pot and drink it. The timers are extremely cute, and you can buy one for yourself if you want. I very much enjoyed my hot tea and will definitely be going back. My only fear is that if this place becomes as popular as it deserves to be, there won't be a lot of room -- there are a few tables so it's great to hang out with a couple of buddies, but definitely not a place for a big gathering.
